PM advises using modern technology in insurance
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged to use of modern technology to deposit insurance premiums and to work out losses.
She made this suggestion at the inauguration of 'National Insurance Day-2021' at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital in a video conference from Gana Bhavan on Monday (March 1).
"We want people to be more confident about insurance. So that they can reap the benefits. That is why I have modernized the insurance system and made all the laws. ’ said PM.
Finance Minister Ahm Mostafa Kamal presided over the function and was addressed by Insurance Association President Sheikh Kabir Hossain and Finance Secretary Asadul Islam.
Calling for the use of modern technology to deposit insurance premiums and ensure maximum benefits to customers in the event, the Prime Minister said, "Consumers need to ensure maximum benefits in insurance. Be careful to meet insurance demands. Care has to be taken to get the customer's dues easily. Also, be careful not to claim insurance by showing artificial damage. ’
